In April Emile was invited to Clarence House to meet Camilla Parker Bowles. Through Emiles support and funding of the Ebony Horse Club which HRH is Patron Emile attended a lunch reception and spoke with Camilla who was very interested in the work the Foundation is doing. With the build up to the Olympics in 2012 Ebony Riding Club will be part of the BEF Legacy to ensure children in London will have the opportunity to ride which the Foundation will strongly support.
The Charity Dinner held at The Old Butchers Restaurant in Stow-on the- Wold was a great success. It was a fabulous warm evening in the lovely setting in the Cotswolds ,with a wine reception of lovely chilled Rose Wine donated by Duncan and Francis Wilson of Throwley Vineyards of Faversham followed by a great 4 Course Dinner! We also held a Silent Auction with Art work kindly donated by Equestrian Artists Sally Martin and Lydia Keirman to whom we continue to be grateful for their kind support. Louise and Peter Robinson also donated a Dinner for two with wine at their fantastic restaurant and special thanks to them both and their staff for a wonderful evening and their very kind support of the Foundation.
Bedgebury Park Riding Centre kindly hosted a Dressage Extravaganza for the Foundation and despite a rather cold rainy day a full day of classes which included Music and Costume Class was well supported. Thank you to Gabriella Atkinson who now owns the Centre for holding the event and supplying such fab rosettes and sashes.
Juliet and Don Langsdon- Down held the Rother Valley Hunter Trails at their Farm . With nearly 250 rounds throughout the day a total of £1,350 was raised for the Foundation which is wonderful and will help to boost funds so to everyone involved a huge thank you and to Don and Juliet for their continued support as they helped the Foundation right at the beginning with contributing to the making of Emiles' DVD.
Somerford Park Premier League again held a raffle throughout their 3 days of dressage and raised £600 for us. We are so grateful to all those involved and thank everyone involved for their efforts and support!
Equestrian Artist Sally Martin had an open house for her work and raffled a piece of her work and gave the proceeds to the Foundation. Sally has been overwhelming generous to the Foundation during the past years and helped to raise money through auctioning her work.
Jacksons Fencing held a Master class with Emile at Oldencraig Equestrian Centre on July 10th with the proceeds going to the Foundation and the RDA. Emile flew back from Germany to take the masterclass and worked with 3 of his pupils explaining his training technics to an attentive audience despite the overwhelming temperatures!! The afternoon was a great success leaving everyone enthralled and inspired by Emiles' approach and clarity to the training of Dressage horses. Many thanks to Jacksons' Fencing for organising this event and their support of Emiles' work.

Other private donations continue to come in and it is of course all this that helps the Charity to continue to fund projects throughout the Uk. Any event/show organiser who feels they could hold a raffle or event in aid of the Foundation please contact Mary-anne as we need your help and contributions.
PROJECTS
STEPNEY STABLES , NEWCASTLE. This full years project is just coming to a close with the Young Volunteers Scheme. This has been a great success with students achieving their ABRS exams and their BHS Stage 1 so it is hoped they will go on to seeking a career in horses. It is hoped the Foundation can fund a similar scheme this following year.

LANGTREES SCHOOL, READING. The children from this school have had a great time riding at Checkendon Equestrian Centre and regularly send updates and they will be able to continue to ride in the following school year. Thanks to Linda Tarrant for all the effort she puts into these children’s lessons!

BROMPTON COLLEGE, GILLINGHAM. Due to the College being changed into an Academy it was not possible to start this term but now organised and look forward to their riding lessons commencing in September.
All our other projects in the UK continue to run smoothly with more children benefiting from riding and we have a number of new projects we are hoping to be able to start funding in the new school year as applications come in all the time so we do need your help to be able to continue to do this.
